p. Though the advent of their people is shrouded in mystery, the proud sons and daughters of dragon kind have helped shape the world for ages untold. Across the savannahs and floodplains to the south of Great Plateau all the way to the Southern Sea, the dragonborn forged an empire that would stand for ten thousand years.
p. That empire Arkhosia stood for seven millennia before the dragons went to war with the Dwarven kingdoms to the north. That was when the Third Empire came and obliterated both sides with armies of monstrous creatures, magic and weapons of such destructive power their like haven’t been seen since the Dawn War.
p. The Dragonborn consider Arkhosia to be the true cradle and crucible of civilization. At it’s height it was the brightest light of learning and building that is known. Monumental structures crafted to honor their gods and the Dragon Lords that ruled them. Every city had libraries and schools temples and courts. The monolithic ruins of Arkhosia still haunt the great but diminished Cities ruled by new generations of Dragon Lords and more often councils of Dragonborn clans.
p. The few dragonborn that exist outside the Arkhosia peninsula are left from those outside of the empire when it was brought down. Or the few who leave their home for their own reasons.
